One of the definitions for leadership at West Point Military Academy is, “to get people to do what you want them to do”. This may seem like a simple statement but from our military and corporate experience it can be a difficult thing to accomplish. That is why our focus throughout our sessions will be to raise the level of corporate and personal ACCOUNTABILITY.
Our job is to have every person at this event be willing and choose to own the success of the companies’ vision and objectives and to reach an aligned understanding of those targets. Every person will be willing to say, “This is my company and I am responsible for everything that happens in it”. When you have this kind of thinking embedded throughout the organisation you become unstoppable.
This level of accountability is what made the elite US Ranger teams so successful. A six-man Ranger team was more successful and effective that one hundred of the military’s regular foot soldiers. Imagine what this kind of thinking could do to your business.
