Team sessions
Your company’s leaders will be given a much larger context for understanding the world within which they are operating. With enough perspective every situation can be seen as potential and possibility. Companies and their leaders who live in the understanding of ever-present possibility achieve outstanding results.
The outcome of the day
An introduction to approaching leadership, creativity and people connection within a team through a series of hands on arts-based sessions, which will embody important concepts, such as Presence, Passion and Trust.
Using music/theatre/storytelling/poetry etc, builds a new creation myth for any company. ‘Out of the chaos of the past, a new seed of creativity can be planted to create a future vision which emerges from the deep connection and expression of the group in the here and now.’
What ‘baggage’ are we carrying with us (outdated behavior, operations, cynicism, judgments, fears etc)? How can we let go of these, and arrive at ‘ground zero’? The point of creative potency, the present moment.
Coaching Teams Methodologies
In our experience, we have found that in order to access personal creativity and to foster authentic collaboration as a group, several key areas must be addressed.
Trust
Genuine self expression can only be present, if there is a sufficient degree of trust throughout the whole group. Through a series of stimulating and challenging icebreakers, we create a safe, yet exciting environment to encourage a mutually supportive atmosphere.
Presence
By letting go of past ideas, preconceived judgments, cynicism and fear of failure, we arrive in the present moment, with an empty, yet alert mind which is fully aware of all potentialities, but is not attached to any outcome. This allows for creativity to flourish, and future visions and strategies to emerge.
The Session
Behind the fun and the novelty of a drumming session lie a whole host of 'subtle energies' that can reveal hidden resources and generally deepen our connection to the here and now. Through embodying this source of creativity, we present an effective metaphor for co-creating as a team, and for enhanced relationships, based on trust and honesty.
